THE POWER OF OUR PENS 7-12 GRADES

Words hold immense power—and in The Power of Our Pens, that power is brought to life through the voices of young writers at New Era International School. As a dual curriculum institution, we strive for excellence by challenging our students to master English as a first language while meeting high academic standards.  

This online book is a collection of creative works by students in grades 7–12, each piece expressing their thoughts, dreams, and unique perspectives on the world around them. Every year, students are given the opportunity to submit a piece of writing, exploring a range of forms including, letters personal narratives, and opinion essays.     

From each grade level, a select number of works are chosen for publication after careful review and editing. These pieces reflect not only a deep understanding of their topics, but also creativity, originality, and the distinct voices of our students.

Now in its 13th year of publication, this collection continues to celebrate the talent and dedication of our school community. We are deeply grateful to our students and parents for their hard work, commitment, and passion for growth.
